Very predictable result when DanishBears Academy (3-1) smashed 68th ranked Spanish Alicante (1-7) 117-53 on Thursday. The game without a history. Bears Academy led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alicante to just 7 points in second quarter. Bears Academy dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Alicante 's 44 and had 24 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Alicante only scored three points from the stripe. Bears Academy forced 39 Alicante turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 19 passes made by Alicante 's players. Forward Frederik Fruelund (200-2009) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners.
